For most Dutch people, the lockdown proclaimed by PM Rutte is no picnic. Contrarily, for Hussein, who suffers from agoraphobia, a world opens up.
After PM Rutte’s appeal to all Dutch people to stay home as much as possible, the usually crowded shopping streets of Amsterdam were completely deserted. This short film seizes the exceptional opportunity to tell the story of Hussein, who has been suffering from agoraphobia since his parents’ sudden death. He locks himself into the house and avoids the most important people in his life. Only when nobody is on the streets, Hussein dares to go out.
