Drama in which Olga is launched as the new star of the Royal Ballet. Her best friend Irma has to stand by and watch how Olga gradually caves in under the pressure to excel and the temptations of Amsterdam nightlife.
Amsterdam, 1970s. While the talented ballet dancers Olga and Irma try to hold their footing in the taxing, ambitious ballet world, Olga is launched as the big new star of the Royal Ballet. Soon, Olga also discovers the downsides of her success. Irma has to stand by and watch her friend cave in under the tremendous pressure to excel, losing herself in the debauched nightlife. About an exceptional talent and an ultimate friendship.
