Documentary about the work of photographers who take pictures of famous people for the gutter press. The film follows several top photographers and shows that they depend on being in the right place at the right time. The film shows that the photographers keep close tracks on where the jet-set can be found. It is then often a question of speed - being beside the lift when the star gets out - or of perseverance. Those wanting to take a picture of Warren Beatty's baby will have to stake out the fence of his mansion for days. Anyone wanting a nude photo of Joan Collins is forced to spend days with a telephoto lens sitting in a tree near a log cabin. Filmmaker Kraanen follows the photographers as they shoot e.g. Princess Caroline, Prince Willem-Alexander, Lady Di, Elton John, Cher, Nick Nolte and Liz Taylor.
