In conjunction with the Foundation Film in Concert and Muziekcentrum Vredenburg, the festival presents gems from the early years of cinema, accompanied live by music composed by Maud Nelissen and performed by film orchestra The Sprockets. The audience will roar with laughter with Laurel and Hardy, who play in a band in You're Darn Tootin' (1928). Charlie Chaplin is a police officer having some trouble maintaining order in Easy Street (1917). Voetbal (1928) is a wonderful short Dutch film by Dick Laan, author of children's books, about a boy who dreams of becoming the hero of the pitch in a soccer match. Finally, the programme features a series of short French films from producer Gaumont from 1910.
