Oogappels follows four different families in a midsize Dutch town. In the sixth season of this winner of the Golden Televizier Ring, a new phase dawns. Now that almost all of them have finished secondary school, the children have to learn to stand on their own two feet. For the parents, who used to set the bar very high for themselves and the apples of their eye, this means they’ll have to learn to let go. But are they all equally good at this? Just like their young adult children, the parents are looking for a new balance for themselves or between each other in this season.
