In this film noir-like short film, a mailman is tempted to secretly read other people’s letters. When he discovers secret messages in the love letters sent to the woman next door, he finds himself in a paranoid state.
Amsterdam, 1962. An odd mailman still lives with his scrutinising parents. Despite the oath he took, he cannot resist sticking his nose in other people’s letters. He finds it particularly hard to ignore the juicy correspondence between the woman next door and her lover. Soon, his curiosity begins to work against him. Why is everybody acting so detached? And those men wearing hats, what do they want from him? The moment his paranoia rises above the laws of nature and common sense, he comes eye to eye with his voyeurism.
