In this absurd tragicomedy, Lenie (Anneke Blok) combats her loneliness by letting out her son’s old room to tourists. Although she enjoys the company, it has to remain a secret, because the other residents loathe the wheeled suitcase brigade that recently invaded the sleepy town. Whoever thinks differently about this is cast out by the neighbourhood. Everything goes fine, until an Irish tourist tumbles down Lenie’s fire escape with an infernal racket.
