In this documentary debut, Pien Vroonland explores the unwritten rules of friendship. How do you make new friends, what does it mean to be ‘best’ friends and what if one of the two has different ideas about it? She discusses this with old acquaintances and current friends. But also with new potential friends – now still strangers in the street. How do they look at true friendship? About friend requests, crab sticks, sharing moments of silence and the organisation of a friends’ serenade.
