For the Jonkerboys, the only football club for TBS patients in the national football competition, there is more at stake than a victory. The matches within the clinic walls guarantee a rare moment of contact with the outside world. On the pitch, they are just football players for a while. Until the reality of life in the clinic comes knocking again. While the men work their magic on the field, some of them candidly talk, in the voice-over of this debut documentary, about their complex past, life under supervision and their team sport.
