Filmmaker Kee van der Meer and her dog both struggle with anger. Because behaviour-wise they’re perfect opposites, Kee looks for a way to grow closer to each other.
Beware of the dog is part of a series of five short documentaries in which young creatives question, invert or rewrite the unwritten rules of present-day society. Kee van der Meer discovers that her dog Lucky mirrors her own struggle with anger. In the opposite direction, they look for ways to deal with this volatile emotion. What can they learn from each other? While Kee learns to vent her rage in drama therapy, at the same time she tries to cure Lucky of his reactive anger.
