Five adolescents, two boys and three girls, sneak out of summer camp on a sultry evening. They steal a car and, while joyriding, end up in a forest, where a wild boar suddenly appears in their headlights. A little later, the animal lies in front of the car, groaning with pain. Anne, the toughest and most unpredictable of the lot, cuts the animal's throat to put him out of his misery. After this, the innocent romps and infatuations among the five youngsters change into jealousy and mutual settlements. The games become serious. Where first nobody dared look at the other to mask any feelings of affection, they now look seethingly into each other's eyes. One seals his lips, the other can do nothing but shout. But they keep suppressing what they really want to say to each other. As they will continue to do from that moment on.
