Deep in the forest, a stubborn farm boy is confronted with the mystical folklore of the Veluwe. Trolls, monstrous fish and a giant wolf are among those chasing after him.
This graduation animation is based on The Sagas of Veluwe by writer Gust van de Wall Perné, who travelled through the Gelderland forests in the early twentieth century, collecting fables and folk tales. Somewhere in the Veluwe, a stubborn farm boy wanders through the woods, pursued by various creatures from Veluwe folklore. At first, he manages to escape, until he loses his way and must face the forest's mysticism head-on. Will he manage to break free?
