Documentary about the double life led by the Syrian refugee Obada (21), who is a YouTube celebrity in the Arab world while leading an isolated life in a small Dutch village.
When he was twelve, Obada (21) and his family fled from Syria to Dutch Angeren: a small village in Gelderland. He barely speaks the language and fails to join in with the children at school. So, he stops going there and starts vlogging sketches, which soon make him a hit in the Arab world. His onlinestardom starkly contrasts with his secluded life in the Netherlands, where he regularly clashes with his family about his dreams, ambitions and love life.
