Four operators of the 112 emergency service work under great pressure. In shocking, gripping and at times almost absurd phone conversations, they make daily assessments that can make the difference between life and death.
Everyone can get into an emergency situation. If you do, you can call number 112. In this new drama series by Joram Lürsen (Vliegende Hollanders), we follow the conversations of four operators. Conversations you hope you will never have, but are everyday events here. Under considerable pressure, they have to deal with the most exceptional emergency situations, each doing it in his or her own way. Personal problems and cultural views should not play a role, but do seep into the phone calls, which can make the difference between life and death.
