When 18-year-old Isra moves out of the house, it means she will have to leave her depressed father all by himself. During a weekend break, she tells him her plans. But who exactly has to let go of who?
Texel used to be the place where Isra (18) spent her holidays with her father Ömer. So it is not so strange that she chose this island to tell him she wants to move out. Isra hopes the budding nature and shared nice holiday memories will have a soothing effect on the message she has for her depressed father. After all, will he manage, all alone, after she has left the house? Graduating director Meryem Çifteci based this intimate film on the relationship with her own father, actor Ali Çifteci, who plays the role of Ömer.
