Naziha used to be branded a mother of ‘one of the largest Moroccan problem families in Amsterdam’. Nine years ago, she got divorced from her violent husband, who was thirty years her senior. Since then, this woman does everything in her power to regain control of her family and keep her ten children to the straight and narrow path. It is an exhausting struggle against social control and prejudice. Just when the tide seems to have turned, fate strikes. The normal, quiet life Naziha dreamt of could not be further away. An intimate documentary about a strong-willed woman.
