Mary is an informal carer for her son with cerebral palsy. This means giving care around the clock and so much red tape that a surreal situation is looming. How does Mary keep her head above water in this animation?
A broken wash basin, a son with cerebral palsy and a dog that laps up the dirty diapers. Mother and informal carer Mary’s day is beginning to overwhelm her. So seriously that in the end she is almost literally drowning in the red tape of the healthcare system, when yet again she is calling with an obtuse administrator. With her graduation animation, director Naomi Noir pays tribute to the people she believes are the true heroes of our society: those who fully dedicate their lives to others.
