A man is making a phone call at home. After hanging up, he looks at himself in the mirror for a long time. A little later, he goes out into the street. In a crowded square, he halts and gets on a bus. Nervously, he scrutinises his fellow passengers. Too conspicuously, for he draws a girl's attention. She addresses him and asks if he wants to go to the park with her. Getting the come-on never came at a worse moment.
