When three women reunite to commemorate a friend who died young, they’re unexpectedly confronted with their past. Will it be enough to restore their faded friendship?
Twenty-six years ago, Lou took her life. This year, she would have turned fifty – and her former best friends Manou, Ali and June reunite to commemorate her. Over the years, they’ve drifted apart. As they awkwardly gather around a cake with fifty candles, this graduation film raises a poignant question: Are they here for each other or for who they once were? The loss affected each of them differently. Can this bring them back together? Then the power goes out, and suddenly Lou appears before them, just as she was at 24.
