Satirical farce about three wealthy friends who, while dividing their time between the plastic surgeon and and shopping, take no half measures when suspecting their husbands of adultery.
Although they have had their looks drastically changed for their wealthy husbands, three bored millionaire's wives threaten to be swapped for younger rivals, after all. The first victim of nagging suspicion is Kitty. She uses an extensive checklist to tally how suspicious her husband's behaviour is. In the long term, this might well cause some ruffles in her luxurious life. She decides to set a hired gun, who adores Cliff Richard, on him. But the hitman does not do the job without a struggle. What follows is a farce that is alternately reminiscent of Gooische Vrouwen, A Fish Called Wanda, The Naked Gun 33 1/3 and Dick Maas' own Flodder films.
The director makes use of his familiar trademarks: gallows humour, flat characters, bright colours, spectacular stunts and a break-neck tempo. The intended title De Botox Methode was changed by order of the pharmaceutical company Allergan.
