A documentary shot in Rumania and aiming to counter prejudices about gypsies. Many groups of Roma gypsies live in Rumania. Each group has its own identity and can therefore not be lumped together. Political and economical changes in Rumania have also influenced the lives of the Roma. Beyond their power and forced by circumstance, the gypsies increasingly seem to confirm the negative image society has of them. Filmmaker Claire Pijman managed to win the trust of the Rumanian gypsies and was able to make a film from their point of view.
