High school comedy about a girl who, after living in the US for years, returns to the Netherlands. Her whole life changes when the popular clique label her an outsider.
In America, Julia (played by YouTube star Djamila) leads a perfect life as a popular girl. When she returns to the Netherlands after years, her whole life changes. The three most popular girls at school – the VIP squad – label the newcomer a misfit, an outsider. So not surprisingly, when the opportunity arises to go back to the US, she seizes it with both hands, even if it takes leading a complicated double life at school. But then she falls in love with Nick. Does she really want to go back or does she prefer to stay (with him)?
