Mijn ouders zijn gescheiden: Scheids! Wissel!

Three years ago, Din’s parents separated. What followed was a period full of insecurity, rows and agitation. Din remained quiet; he did not talk about his feelings. He still doesn’t. He has never told his parents how he experienced this period. In the film Scheids! Wissel!, Din uses the help of director Tim (himself a child of divorced parents and an ex-soccer player) to express what went on in his head when his parents split up. Where words fail, the ball takes over. Din is simply not very talkative. He’d rather have his feet do the talking.
