Passengers on a Brussels city bus are startled when Samuel gets in. In this short drama, the Congolese immigrant starts spouting his discontent with Europe, holding up a mirror to his fellow passengers and to the viewer.
From a single camera angle, we witness a tense bus ride through Brussels, when a Congolese immigrant gets on board to loudly voice his discontent with Europe. His fellow passengers try to ignore his confrontational words by looking out the window or at the floor. With a recognisable story, this short drama manages to shed light on a tragic, complex and uneasy aspect of our society, simultaneously holding up a mirror to the viewer.
