Documentary describes an unusual music project that singer Frédérique Spigt initiated. During two weeks, a mobile recording studio is set up in a charming monumental house, complete with woodblocks and a fireplace, a plentiful table and sufficient booze. With her band, Spigt daily welcomes a Dutch artist here, with whom she has a personal and intimate rendezvous and takes on the challenge to sing a duet that they have written together. The project leads to an exclusively Dutch-language duet album, on which Spigt sings with people like Barry Hay, Huub van der Lubbe, Bennie Jolink, Katja Schuurman, Herman Brood (on tape, posthumously), Liesbeth List and Daniel Lohues.
