After his partner suffers a miscarriage, stoic car mechanic Wendell struggles to process his grief. Should he adopt the same emotional armour as his friends, or confront the pain he's been avoiding?

Car mechanic Wendell and his partner Angelique are preparing for the arrival of their first child. It brings joy and hope, but for Wendell, it also brings mounting worry. He feels the weight of expectations, and the constant presence of his older brother Jair, who influences everything he does. Then tragedy strikes: a miscarriage. In this debut, Wendell increasingly withdraws into himself, searching for a path to healing in the stilled rhythms of island life in Curaçao and in the invisible forces of his past.
