In this short youth drama, an introverted girl struggles with her father who recently became an invalid. At her new school she lies about it, the consequences of which she fails to oversee.
The world of the introverted, but fiery Esra (9) is turned upside down. Her father became disabled due to a motorcycle accident and as a consequence they moved. Struggling with his infirmity, he is no longer the father Esra knew. At Esra’s new school, a lie slips out of her mouth that yields positive attention, but the consequences of which she does not oversee. The pain, anger and shame bubbling under the surface inexorably find their way up.
