Six years ago, Laura Bokhoven’s father passed. To keep him close to her, she replicates a journey he made in the past. A film about memories and the power of imagination.
After her father’s death, director Laura Bokhoven is always looking for places where she can sense his presence. When a story pops up about one of his trips, she decides to follow in his footsteps. While landscapes file past, Laura reacts to her father’s poetry, creating the impression of a dialogue. Her encounters offer perspectives in coping with death and loss. A documentary road movie about mourning and how you can hold on to someone who is gradually fading.
