The Ukrainian Kateryna is admitted to the Ghent Art Academy. She is happy to be in a safe place, but the want of her loved ones in the war zone keeps pulling her back to Kyiv.
When Kateryna (20) after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine is admitted to the Art Academy in Ghent, she is happy to be in a safe place. But the lack of her family and friends in Kyiv feels like a great loss. She joins the maker of this documentary on a trip back to the war zone, where some warm-hearted, confronting and sad meetings take place. Before Kateryna returns to Ghent, she says goodbye; it can always be the last time. Travelling back and forth has its downside: Where does she actually belong?
