In this animation, a young girl tries to come to terms with the death of her cat. What follows is a journey through various mourning rituals and surrealist worlds, each offering a different way of coping with loss.
When a young girl's beloved cat dies, she finds herself in a strange, surreal world full of doors. Each door leads her into a different world, each with its own mourning ritual. She ends up in a room full of paintings, encounters Tibetan monks, and dances in an Irish pub. Through these experiences, she learns to face her own grief and loss when the time comes to say goodbye. LORG is a short graduation animation about the first encounter with death, grief and resilience.
