Poetic, personal documentary about a budding friendship between the young filmmaker who lost his mother tongue and an old fisherman who lost his hearing in the Bosnian civil war.
One lost his mother tongue as a child due to stuttering, the other lost his hearing during the Bosnian civil war. In this documentary, a filmmaker and a fisherman get acquainted around a lake on the border between Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro. The result is a budding friendship, despite their speech and hearing disabilities. In this tender western, they jointly look for ways to communicate, surrounded by the vast silence and fierce weather conditions on the water. The camera plays an essential role.
