Conflict is a programme that plays with images and sounds of quarrels in Dutch films. It is a highly topical theme; almost every day, we are confronted with conflicts in which some excesses seem to be inspired by situations in films. Through this performance, SXNDRX wants to make people unconsciously (consciously) face the facts, by confronting them with their squabbles by means of other people's words (audio samples from the above-mentioned films). But the performance also has a sense of perspective and humour, in the combination of projected faces and accompanying, sometimes hilarious, sound fragments.
