'Where are you going?' 'To hell.' One of the few dialogues in this road movie, in which an old woman makes her final journey. Carrying a suitcase in one hand and a goldfish in the other, she walks through streets, fields and leafy forest lanes, while being confronted with unexpected affability and friends from the past. Filmed up close, Licht is a personal portrait and an intimate account of the way to the light.
