Ten-year-old Loet struggles with the loss of her younger brother. By herself, because Loet’s parents do not want to involve her in the preparations for the funeral. Helped by a friend, she finds her way in this new reality.
A crammed living room smells like strong coffee and flowers. People console each other on the decease of Loet’s younger brother Ties. In the days prior to the funeral, Loet is left to her own devices. Lonely and unacknowledged, she looks for distraction with Ties’ rabbit Dino, that appears to be neglected. How will she deal with her little brother’s death? That is the question in this tender coming-of-age film that director Liselotte Glerum graduated with.
