Personal document in which celebrated film veteran Kees Hin (83) is portrayed in the final phase of life by his former apprentice and good friend Diego Gutierrez.
The celebrated film veteran Kees Hin and his former Rijksacademie apprentice and good friend Diego Gutierrez regularly meet at Hin’s home in an attempt to keep working together. This becomes an ever greater challenge, because the 83-year-old Hin suffers from Parkinson’s disease. In a series of seven short films, Gutierrez shows how Hin, despite his progressive illness, tries to remain active and common-sensical and keep being creative.
