Let's Play

Director: Marzieh Rasekh
In a village where everyone is busy with grown-up problems, a child just wants to have fun. In this playful line animation, his games accidentally set off a major feud.
In a village consumed by adult responsibilities, a child longs for play and joy. But time and again, he's called back by his parents and their neighbours. When he gets a little too carried away, all hell breaks loose in this graduation film, where simple charcoal drawings are playfully brought to life. A stray ball sparks a neighbourly dispute that quickly escalates into an all-out village war. Can this destructive conflict still be turned back into innocent play?
