Nathalie picks up her daughter Julie at the shopping centre, where she has just been caught shoplifting. The exhausted single mother and her rebellious, but vulnerable teenage daughter get on the wrong side of each other, discussing the incident. It’s a long way home, it appears. Their quarrel soon escalates into a violent dispute.
