The award-winning kiss kiss bang bang, which has already picked up multiple awards in the Netherlands, is a portrait of love built from home videos, photos, diaries, audio recordings and interviews. In it, director Ollie Launspach explores the impact of his transition on his girlfriend Sterre Mulder. As he tries to understand her emotional world, the chaos in his own head gradually comes into focus. He tries to open up a conversation with Sterre, but she comes from a family whose motto is: least said, soonest mended. So they find other ways to communicate: she writes, he makes films.
