Series of eight tragic-comic films based on the former daily column in Amsterdam newspaper Het Parool by 'Kronkel', a pseudonym for writer Simon Carmiggelt. The ironic and poetic short films show the everyday worries of people in Amsterdam and are largely set in the bar.
