The continuous discord between two brothers escalates when, deep in the woods, their father teaches them how to become lumberjacks. A film about family, nature and finding one’s identity.
Two brothers are stuck in a constant loop of frustration, fighting and testing each other’s limits. They live with their father far from the civilised world, deep in the woods. Their father tries to teach them the tricks of the lumberjack trade and wants his sons to become 'real' men, but he begins to wonder if they really have it in them. This short film by director Tim Ewalts was already screened this year at the Cannes Film Festival and the Palm Springs ShortFest.
