The companionship between two hooligans is bursting at the seams when one still gets a kick out of the violent scene while the other tries to escape from this pointless life.
Raoul lives for the chaos of hooligan life, while Anouar looks for a way out of the violence and pointlessness. This debut film shows how their friendship is put to the test when Anouar distances himself, afraid to face his true feelings. Raoul refuses to let go. To him, worked up and coked out, instilling fear is the only way to command respect. His pal Anouar, however, is increasingly fed up with the scene, full of violence and toxic masculinity.
This film is part of the NFF Debut Competition and has been nominated for the 2025 Film Prize of the City of Utrecht. The winner will be announced on Monday, 29 September during the Talent Awards Ceremony at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht.
