When a bird watcher in his tent by the water is caught unawares by a boy, he loses himself in contemplations about the moments in his life that mattered. Strengthened by his young visitor, he puts away his weaknesses and gets a brief taste of the freedom he so admires in the bird he prefers to watch. Then it turns out the boy does not only bring him something. Mythical gem that visualises, both intangibly and concretely, the inevitable power of Thanatos.
