A socially isolated cloakroom attendant still manages to make contact with people via his keen sense of smell. Suddenly, he stands face to face with his ideal woman, but he lets the moment slip away.

A socially isolated cloakroom attendant leads a humdrum life. He has a keen sense of smell, which enables him to determine someone’s personality and (future) life through the scent of their coats. In this wordless film, the cloakroom is filled with black coats, symbolising the man’s mental state. When he takes in a crimson coat one day, he smells this is the woman of his life. But he repels her with a capital blunder.
