Kort Rotterdams - Opening Night

Director: Tim Leyendekker
Wordless visualisation of the expectations at a performance by a young dancer. Static shots of a canteen, a hallway, two parents in the wings. A concentrated girl appears and enters the large and empty stage. She begins her tap dance. Music is absent. We only hear the sound of her tapping shoes. Her peers look on from the auditorium. The point of the story is revealed before the curtain falls.
