Grandfather Joost Prinsen taught his granddaughter Senna from a young age to enjoy everyday sounds: boats on the water, car horns, clicking heels, drills, tinkling glasses. When he has to spend his birthday in hospital, she puts on her rollerskates and records a symphony of urban sounds, so he can make a trip across Rotterdam one more time. Monic Hendrickx plays the daughter who tries to cheer up her father by playing the violin, but he prefers an 'open-air concert'.
