Short stop-motion film about a 93-year-old man who receives a surprising package and decides he does not want to die as the shadow he has become, but as the man he used to be.
Short animated film shows 93-year-old Mr. De Vries passing his final days, sitting at the window of his wooden house. Until an unexpected messenger shakes him awake. One cold winter’s day, the old man is surprised with a package containing his old Frisian skates. At that moment, Mr. De Vries realises he does not want to die as the shadow he has become, but as the man he used to be. Animation: Huub Kistemaker.
