Partly Iranian-spoken feature film about the Iranian Pirooz family, who flee to Holland in 1994 for political reasons. Three years later, problems arise when father Pirooz can still not settle in in the Dutch society and holds on to his own values and standards. His wife Mitra, on the other hand, manages to develop herself and is receptive to changes. This causes friction in the education of their adolescent son Amin. Amin tries to break free from his father and does everything that is forbidden. This reaches a climax during an outing with his 'wrong' friends to the Sodom and Gomorrah of the Netherlands, Amsterdam. The trip gets completely out of hand and when Amin finds out he has more in common with his father than he thought, he asks him for help.
