Grim animated film about a man from a British working-class background who is stabbed by a junkie on the subway. In his final seconds, warm childhood memories initially flash past, but they soon change into a nightmare of his best friend slipping away into a world of drugs and violence, under the influence of the dealer of the nearby junkyard. Oil paintings in combination with drawings and 3D computer animations lend the film special depth.
