Short film about Joris Ivens' visit to the Netherlands Film Academy in 1968.
To mark his seventieth birthday on 18 November 1968, Joris Ivens was invited by students of the Netherlands Film Academy to talk about his oeuvre. Ivens was received enthusiastically by the students and they talked about his work at length. A short film was made of the visit, that was thoroughly prepared, e.g. during a visit by several students to the filmmaker in Paris.
