Ten-year-old Joran cares for his sick mother at home, but more than anything, he wants to play football with the local boys his age. Can he be a child and still care for his mother, at the same time?
Joran (10) has one big wish: to play football with the boys from his neighbourhood. Through imaginative drawings, he expresses his longing for friendship with kids his own age. That's easier said than done. With his father absent, the responsibility of caring for his sick mother falls on him. His dream finally seems within reach when he's invited to join, but jealous neighbour Amin tries to spoil things. Later, the two discover they have more in common than they thought. A sensitive coming-of-age graduation film about caregiving, friendship and being a child.
